A Beautiful But Dangerous Woman

She is crazy, in a beautiful way. Playing poker at the most awkward times of the day, she will give you the most heart attack provoking stare down. And if you ever do survive her looks, which are amazing, don’t be hopeful, you will never survive her burning soul. Not a chance in the world. I remember that I won against her flopped trip queens with turned trip aces. I won that pot, for sure. I thought I had it all after that one hand. But I didn’t see that she still had a few chips left in her hand. And you know what they say; all you need is a chip and a chair (and a beer is nice as well). She had more than one chip, and she definitely had a chair and a beer. After a few more dozen hands, I saw that my chip count was down quite a lot, and Evi’s stack was almost more than before the legendary QQ vs. AA hand. I saw then that it was hopeless, and quickly cashed out my remaining chips.

You know what they say about people that are steaming? Well, with Evi Lombaert it’s the opposite thing, she plays a whole lot better. Beware of her fast brain whenever she is cornered. I know I do.

A Brilliantly Devised Poker Plan

Another evening, she had a rather bad evening, at first. Because she came up with a brilliantly devised plan; she asked the host of the underground poker evening to put on a film about naked people, doing interesting things to each other. Being the only woman at the table, all the men naturally agreed to her daring request. Suddenly, almost everyone except her was looking at a computer screen, a little further away, and stopped looking at their cards. The only one still paying attention were the people with KK, AA, the dealer and Miss Evi. Safe to say, that she made quite a buck that night, and she continued to do so even after we decided to shut down this travesty, which had already eaten most of our bankroll. Why? Because we couldn’t stop thinking about naked women, and her open blouse didn’t allow us to think about anything else.

A very smart woman, who will try to counter your every move, and that will know what move you will make, even before you think of it.
